Merry Christmas

I know its a bit late but MERRY CHRISTMAS
The page above is the first page I've done of Tom and Jerry. It is for our team challenge and Im very happy with how it turned out. Sorry about the bad picture but I'm still getting the hang of my new camera which isn't very easy when you have a big cat trying to jump on the page while taking the pic. Tom just loves paper, he loves playing with it, sleeping on it, hiding under it, infact he just loves anything to do with paper.
The holiday has been very quiet so far. Havent really done too much but then thats what holidays are for. Went to a friends for Christmas day. Thanks to Audrey and her family for a lovely day.
The only other eventful thing is that the lock in my car door has packed up. One night last week the alarm kept going off. I'm sure the neighbours love me. To cut a long story short I now need to climb in through the passenger seat and have to open the doors manually. I hope to get it fixed next week and we are seriously thinking of getting a new car. This one has done very well but has now reached the stage that things are starting to go wrong. We might keep it as Fran is going to take some lessons and get his licence.
Off to tennis tonight for the first time in weeks. Not too sure how many are going to turn up but hopefully enough for a game. Tomorrow Im playing in a tournament so could do with the practice.

On Holiday

Im on holiday and am enjoying the freedom of not having to get up early every morning.Fran is off too so it is nice not having to go to the station every day. The last few weeks at school were extremelly hectic. We had our school production which went very well except very few parents turned up for the second performance. I think next year we are only going to do one performance. We also took the children to see the Wind in the Willows which they enjoyed.

But for the next two weeks school is not going to enter my mind. Nothing too exciting happening. We are going to friends on Christmas day and going for a pub walk on Friday BRRRR. I am also playing in some tennis tournaments. The first one has come and gone already and I lost a close 3 set match. I really need to play more matches so I can win the close ones. The other tournament starts after Christmas.

The picture is of a Layout I did on the weekend. It is of all the animals we saw at the Cango wildlife ranch. It is part of my South African album which is close to being finished. I just need to locate the last few pictures which I seem to have lost (again). This time it is because a whole lot of photos got lost transferring between old and new computers.

Time roles on

Oops, didn't realise I haven't posted for soooo long.

It is now two weeks till the Chritmas holidays and I can't wait. I have close to two and a half weeks off school and have entered two tennis tournaments and plan on doing lots of scrapping. Also Fran will be off for much of the time as well.

Talking about Fran. I found a lovely wedding dress on Saturday. I'm not going to post a piccie here as Fran might see it. I wasn't even looking. I went into the fabric shop in Maidstone to get some ribbon and headed upstairs to where the craft stuff used to be.....but it was gone and in its place were a whole lot of wedding dresses. So of course I had to have a look. They had a sale rack and the was a dress there in the right style and the right size. And with the right price tag. So it is now at home. It will need to be shortened and possible altered slightly but not much.

I havent been playing much tennis. Too cold and miserable out there if you ask me. I have played a few tennis matches though and have another one next weekend. Last Sunday we went and played in Canterbury (for the 1st team and won)

It was Egyptian day at school on Friday. Here is a picture of the Year 3 teachers and TA's all dressed up. Thanks to one of our TA's for making our outfits.

The second picture is a digital page Ive just done. Im still getting the hang of this digital scrapping but am getting better all the time. The page is of our lunch break on the way to Wales in the summer.
