Have started to scrap it though so might show pages and write about it then.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Been back at school for a term already. My class is challenging this year with lots of characters. But am working 4 days a week and loving it. What a difference it makes. Doing a bit of tennis coaching on the weekend and loving that too. At the moment am teaching a group of mini red kiddies age 4-9. Also have a boy from school doing a private lesson every week.<br /><p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534111551009275618" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFGPc0LI-xznWxN5sEE_dcryl9FWTjVI7QTfbSQXbvRLoOp5T4EtQuPeY0Jk6-9rHuAHesB29C7Y0dYuVQHTL1sC_svqNEb27AqWkqpmfMI8eRIxBd4cYCmipJYhizvFz4D5mO/s320/P1010107.JPG" /></p><p>Photo is a oldish photo of the garden. Old I say as most of the hedge you see is now gone. Ken (my lodger) has been very busy taking it out and it will be a veggie patch next summer. Will take a more recent picture soon.<br /></p>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-19668187044776975632010-05-11T20:20:00.004+00:002010-05-11T20:39:38.153+00:00My holiday part 1<div><br /><br /><div>Going to slowly but surely write about my holiday, cruising up the West coast of Africa.<br /></div><div></div><div>Part 1 is arriving in Cape Town and staying at the Waterfront. Was very excited about that. Got to the airport hired the car. After checking in the hotel went down to the craft market to do some shopping. Piccie below is of the corridor at the hotel which used to be a prison. </div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470112425163499762" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3jYNY-xXROSeSFuQ1qXZGiyYvzLkRao1eWXLIDPPOYDC3BNWG2rbI9bYpvz2EVUx7dVLlgJ2LdCHCfVMCBe4rFrLP4qvCNj2RZlB5M1IDywDVhCoRfakRx1rNTIOd_fZr1vNO/s320/P1000384.JPG" /></div><div>Sunday morning....after a bit of a 'Kerrin' walk walking around in circles to not go very far, found a place on the breakwater to watch the boat come in. Was very windy though which would result in the ship leaving Cape Town harbour 9 hours late due to 55 knot winds. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470112415605632674" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgo-QI4V0zftswsdugiB7udWsffGtHPIwdH3IoOldRCavAv7JONReSzsawpDfSaKXluksccvC8MRI6KIDr_XzGV907eOnosg2VZ9AasFVMvTuxxH_Nh8SbvTPjRZ-cjBf5WfLSS/s320/P1000369.JPG" /></div></div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-2424019552602439202010-05-11T19:23:00.004+00:002010-05-11T19:44:05.248+00:00My Garden<div>As promised some pictures of my little garden. I am really loving my little garden and it is little only about 5x5 m in size but it is really my first garden. All other houses I have lived in, I have rented so the gardens weren't really mine. The grass is growing well and could do with a good mow and the plants are growing too. Not much to look at yet, but watch this space. </div><div><br /><br /></div><div></div><p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470096826702258914" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbN1Qf5h7ej2vLJdDaQIkXJ-xvzeAtS4Qdty-njQTZ_s7c9gPvSBQbsIjF2Crbh8quRopOrhR15gRoo3aGWxpTxbqyZT6ZVATnWDu5OZIucUwkPbFhJ5fNvyg6qt94bWul4gF2/s320/P1000934.JPG" />The bigger lupin (I think thats what it is.....not very clued up on names) which is growing very well and is getting it's first flower. Wish I could say the smaller one is growing quite so well. </p><div><br /></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470098865636036562" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwidmd5EcY_0yG3UYqKGNGQfHpAu9xjRPZzm5pzgCvcJP-mycPiOLUbNm-OrwXpalCHRmhYImZ5ygWGDgsqopYGF6P4OftNKLB_wRkf2fgYzow3J03MImd0VxMJAq5Hyzz9-1K/s320/P1000944.JPG" />The hedge as it has been cut. It was originally 6ft like the side fence but it totally blocked the view. It will take a while until it is how I want it but is so much better.<br /><p></p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470098849623540834" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTN2Lmjop2hWhWjebyXaLMLs2lpe23hadYa09GpGBUEYzEM1pYYi-Aob03DMYZ_8F7rl4q3J-XrAuVqvhZosnO0KZH2UFICmt8eYoEw40S_bkJkqUDPiFC0W-rWJ4YpF2ryoDN/s320/P1000943.JPG" />Some of the side garden and the grass.<br /><br /><br /><br /><p><br /></p><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><br /><div></div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-13066404824363878532010-05-04T18:19:00.002+00:002010-05-04T18:23:59.966+00:00I'm backYes, me again. Been ages since my last post I know. After having my parents visit me, have decided to start my blog again so I can share pictures of my garden etc.<br /><br />I recently returned from a dream holiday on a cruise from Cape Town to Madeira, which was prolonged by 5 days thanks to the volcanic ash. Going to write about the holiday on here in stages with photos. The had my parents visit me for the bank holiday weekend which was wonderful. Thanks mom and dad for all the handywork around the house.<br /><br />Watch this space for the first piccies from my garden.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-76837483251881771332009-09-06T20:26:00.002+00:002009-09-06T20:29:46.463+00:00Tennis ChampsIt has been a very busy weekend with 3 tennis matches. On Friday night, played a local league match for LA Fitness which I have recently rejoined (desperately need to get fit). Yesterday it was a mixed final which we lost and today our ladies team came through some tough matches to win 4-0 which means we are the ladies 2 champions of Kent. Roll on division 1 next year (our first team won division 1 today too)<br /><br />The house sale is coming along slowly. Just waiting for a few things which are lingering and frustrating me. Hopefully next weeks update will have better news and a contract to sign.<br /><br />Kiddies come back to school tomorrow so wish me luck.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-15277233369192819392009-08-31T19:23:00.003+00:002009-08-31T19:30:24.527+00:00Summer holidays<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUpWE4ESvA9UqremRUGO_rzhcFTQH0kGCI4Ee1qKg5HgGdukzH-zg78A8OpSsua0F-hJA0KExMzGrAiZVxS3PDekFHRhFOsYCRzVS7Jbo8FHegblaEY9m6tRVrOdSy2NRu1FIJ/s1600-h/IMG_9167.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376212282721209762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUpWE4ESvA9UqremRUGO_rzhcFTQH0kGCI4Ee1qKg5HgGdukzH-zg78A8OpSsua0F-hJA0KExMzGrAiZVxS3PDekFHRhFOsYCRzVS7Jbo8FHegblaEY9m6tRVrOdSy2NRu1FIJ/s320/IMG_9167.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY-9pusyQ2K4C46bciWJs6YX3_eiH-cVEko_UmOENVp4-ALsrEmT_R7J6RN6p7tixd7YsKy5UtQbCvfdikz99hV05fTIn4qKvwKmcTZQheCRlAn_yCEMt0g7iJBGKycSdn2P0i/s1600-h/IMG_9024.JPG"></a><br /><br /><div>Back again, thought it was time for an update. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Have just spent a wonderful time in SA and will start to post some piccies. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Back in England now and starting to get ready to go back to school. Tom and Jerry were not that keen and are much happier now that it has melted and they can enjoy the outdoors again.<br /><br />Played a tennis match yesterday believe it or not, but when got to Sevenoaks for the AGM, there was an inch of snow on the courts. For that reason I decided not to bother to go to tennis today as don't have any skis.<br /><br />Last week before a weeks off school and I can't wait. It is quite a busy start to the week with parents evening but once that is over, can start to relax.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-51060349881554123402009-02-03T08:31:00.003+00:002009-02-03T08:43:53.449+00:00More snowy picturesThe snow didn't stop and lots more fell.......so some update piccies.<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjov5Wiof9hE8ybJckJe0pQ4yVG095Xb-VtuCL15Zgl29k12znlYC41VWPeQN-aU6ZBCzd_LJpxgVqP6zj6F9gvv7cMwUQKjF_OIlYUFKMRJLMZYIOIRUJEPnoprZW6oHm04JgY/s1600-h/DSCF1728.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298487570139383762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjov5Wiof9hE8ybJckJe0pQ4yVG095Xb-VtuCL15Zgl29k12znlYC41VWPeQN-aU6ZBCzd_LJpxgVqP6zj6F9gvv7cMwUQKjF_OIlYUFKMRJLMZYIOIRUJEPnoprZW6oHm04JgY/s320/DSCF1728.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7YDvffU5Y5TqA8aqkqTDna7bkv0rxn0gA243Pi0lK8oT-I-ADePuadLIIMxg0TYeQdFxEHeBimiAzmikq8pmQWUFtcZApcVMFSlczAL19svORCo_YjIgwXNFjhaaJR2S5qgan/s1600-h/DSCF1719.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298487566809947202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7YDvffU5Y5TqA8aqkqTDna7bkv0rxn0gA243Pi0lK8oT-I-ADePuadLIIMxg0TYeQdFxEHeBimiAzmikq8pmQWUFtcZApcVMFSlczAL19svORCo_YjIgwXNFjhaaJR2S5qgan/s320/DSCF1719.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDRGuDkWBIewLSknkiedasFl7bA7OIiFkkY1kRDHK2RcBRL3Me4nvPo3qetXHq1s-JKISqVpERTyk02WwUkxwp4GwuwUmyow12KgQNvyV1Mnc7KiezlCYTVFmFB-_gRqWp9oDh/s1600-h/DSCF1723.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298487560999517730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDRGuDkWBIewLSknkiedasFl7bA7OIiFkkY1kRDHK2RcBRL3Me4nvPo3qetXHq1s-JKISqVpERTyk02WwUkxwp4GwuwUmyow12KgQNvyV1Mnc7KiezlCYTVFmFB-_gRqWp9oDh/s320/DSCF1723.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIP1aemuG125WZYXKRseJWPtN4IMze-E2YE1yPaKeJpxp9IshjYqZ9qUyvo6wmiwTdEZoqHLId4AzZi7IobDLouThNtdRIRGZmdMLEP04dX527yqiJOWSB3kqX9eBwZ7_bV1J6/s1600-h/DSCF1726.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298487558445284050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIP1aemuG125WZYXKRseJWPtN4IMze-E2YE1yPaKeJpxp9IshjYqZ9qUyvo6wmiwTdEZoqHLId4AzZi7IobDLouThNtdRIRGZmdMLEP04dX527yqiJOWSB3kqX9eBwZ7_bV1J6/s320/DSCF1726.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-80369216125206715882009-02-01T19:59:00.003+00:002009-02-01T20:03:30.311+00:00Another snowy pic<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmz4eXbthJc0eNyubF4UVBNhY5u4p8Tg_Nuxn2i_0nWU7Yi7QFLrV13gQvg4vY-2YMRz6HLwytNrB3WO5RjqUIdW4q9SOYY1UaFyu7jl828pBDSvYwPe8_zs1K844FKgMIdXfK/s1600-h/DSCF1692.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5297921959630652594" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmz4eXbthJc0eNyubF4UVBNhY5u4p8Tg_Nuxn2i_0nWU7Yi7QFLrV13gQvg4vY-2YMRz6HLwytNrB3WO5RjqUIdW4q9SOYY1UaFyu7jl828pBDSvYwPe8_zs1K844FKgMIdXfK/s320/DSCF1692.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA4E0D09AngbVNC7dVq6wQRNkeI6DUK1TypNA-aRKXO5250-vRXhNQAv2i-P_UBydZs1Ro085S_5o9B6UK0K874rvyPm4PDgt4Nt6YC-EAtUMAhiz48MdYt0V1zhZywkYohpMR/s1600-h/DSCF1679.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5297921948915303042" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA4E0D09AngbVNC7dVq6wQRNkeI6DUK1TypNA-aRKXO5250-vRXhNQAv2i-P_UBydZs1Ro085S_5o9B6UK0K874rvyPm4PDgt4Nt6YC-EAtUMAhiz48MdYt0V1zhZywkYohpMR/s320/DSCF1679.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div>or two taken earlier today. It was -5 when I climbed into my car at 10am and it was freezing playing tennis inside the bubble. </div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-34206452717388337192009-01-06T17:49:00.004+00:002009-01-06T18:15:37.605+00:00New Year Skiing in Les Orres<div> <div>HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE</div><div><br />Have just returned from a fantastic week skiing in Les Orres in France. Thanks Donovan for organizing the week and to everyone for making it so great. </div><div><br />Left Maidstone on Saturday 27th December on a long coach trip through France. Thanks to a sleeping tablet and two seats to myself I actually slept quite well (very unusual for me) Arrived in Les Orres after some very windy and steep roads (puts Long Tom to shame for those South Africans reading this) mid morning on Sunday. Checked in, got our ski gear, had lunch and headed to the slopes. A bit of a comedy of errors, as my bindings were not fitted properly, the button lift looked a bit too scary so too the bus to the village. Then needed to find the easiest slope (5 years is a long time) and eventually headed under the bridge down the slope. Managed to avoid the red slopes and got to the bottom in one piece. Decided to call it a day though. </div><div><br /><br /><br />The main slope in Les Orres central village</div><div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5288241500090105186" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 223px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 163px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirfeEVf9Am-SfFe76lDEts9mSbQtTMyNxk_8B-_zXLJaB42NFXbSlohwMp3pmGa8NXBPqn7Exq0b6hLJ9JF_Xs0DjcGRoUFQ5BXChsZ_2oQvrx4znFOh18dDo3su3YHUaVY-Ul/s320/DSCF1649.JPG" border="0" /></div><div><br /><br />The rest of the week is a bit of the blur. Had lessons, learnt some better technique, battled up and down the hill and onto the bus in ski boots, ate like a queen, discovered new muscles daily, etc etc etc. The French really went out to accommodate us despite the communication barrier. Enjoyed bowlingo (mini bowling) despite the hike up the hill and the ball not going where I wanted to. New Year was very French, lovely food and French singing. And before I knew it, it was time for the return coach trip which seemed longer due to the cold I had picked up. </div><p>Me in action at the bowling. I went through a very rough patch earlier in the year, when I could hardly play and through hard work have come out very strong on the other side. Can happilysay I am now playing my best doubles ever (won't mention singles as that is another story) which has resulted in playing lots and lots of matches.<br /><br />Not much scrapping has happened lately due to my weekends being spent on the tennis court. Hope to get back into it in the new year.<br /><br />Wishing anyone who might still read my blog a Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year. I will be seein the New Year in in France where I am going skiing. Can't wait!Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-537620549409307202008-08-09T19:36:00.002+00:002008-08-09T19:40:17.564+00:00Been scrapping<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihcbp-ELQAylvNQqxPEV4d9YCsKJlZhT8aXO7mjGuE_MvjIltu8K_-hs0NIuuArJS95K80RQcx0KHDD5SDGwJim6i5up_h5cYGVXaRxpUnB6Y7Y1xDHCWWaDA7fxfy9tX1cBJt/s1600-h/brothers+and+sisters.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5232605049733708754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihcbp-ELQAylvNQqxPEV4d9YCsKJlZhT8aXO7mjGuE_MvjIltu8K_-hs0NIuuArJS95K80RQcx0KHDD5SDGwJim6i5up_h5cYGVXaRxpUnB6Y7Y1xDHCWWaDA7fxfy9tX1cBJt/s320/brothers+and+sisters.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>.....which is quite rare in the summer.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Went over to Denny's house yesterday, did some scrapping, was fed, played golf (with plastic clubs) with the boys and had a great time. Decided to play a whole lot of tennis tournaments instead of vegging at home (like I have done today) and have played one so far. I've been a very bad blogger of late (I know)<br /><br />Lots has happened since my last post....let me think back.<br /><br />Been doing a lot of scrapping and will share once I get some of my pages photographed. Need to find my battery charger first. Spent a lovely weekend at Linda's in Oxford scrapping with Jules, Denny, Lorraine and Tinks. Then I ventured off to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a few days. It was nice to get away.<br /><br />Then back to the reality of school and have just had the OFSTED inspectors in and survived to tell the tale. My student has one more week and I can't wait to get back into my classroom. It has been quite a challenge.<br /><br />I won't promise to update often but i am going to try.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-76336887888108134262008-01-13T20:55:00.000+00:002008-01-13T21:00:41.593+00:00Ice Skating<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidWG7XWtDF_NKZhH4J3pvw9MZDPT9KSjfPhgen2VccFIq2AiCm15KTNpxo5bBkLDhUwRuk9i2LiO9hk7j03fYcU44Kn4Cc1ClWSHHOKF8xqKQd4dTs7LylOIq3JE9Vg3wJR90I/s1600-h/dogs+at+play.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5155068622076773410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidWG7XWtDF_NKZhH4J3pvw9MZDPT9KSjfPhgen2VccFIq2AiCm15KTNpxo5bBkLDhUwRuk9i2LiO9hk7j03fYcU44Kn4Cc1ClWSHHOKF8xqKQd4dTs7LylOIq3JE9Vg3wJR90I/s320/dogs+at+play.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Went into London today to go ice skating at Somerset House with Dianne. To cut an extremelly long story short, our school has been in the media (including the national newspapers) about racial tension in the school. A few loud mouthed parents have been spreading the rumours and have been only too happy to speak to the press. We have been in The Times, Independent, Daily Mail, Telegraph and Sunday Express. Must be a record!!!<br /><br />The LO is one I did for our team challenge last week. The piccies are down at the river on my brothers farm. I got really wet after slipping and falling in.<br /><br />Went to the craft show at Alexandra Palance yesterday. Didn't buy that much just a few things but it was a good day out.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-29403817491966393772007-09-24T05:32:00.000+00:002007-09-24T05:39:41.142+00:00Tennis and sore musclesA layout I did on the weekend of Tom. It was a challenge on UKS. I had to use a 'norty' photo, ribbon and a different size. This is 8x8 for the cats album.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhntrvJxGpY7JuryEOnfXP_7AasKphzgY7Hnd-KEiAJROmDfzy_kVN01CHOxChe9Nq4MpJ9Ml5XZjAU0eMUkOO49nvvHqlntM16xChIKPdQQ0QeOdmLEqXFjdIKLN_q6vyDdWm3/s1600-h/norty+boy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5113641018511259890" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhntrvJxGpY7JuryEOnfXP_7AasKphzgY7Hnd-KEiAJROmDfzy_kVN01CHOxChe9Nq4MpJ9Ml5XZjAU0eMUkOO49nvvHqlntM16xChIKPdQQ0QeOdmLEqXFjdIKLN_q6vyDdWm3/s320/norty+boy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Am sitting here this morning with lots of achy muscles. I'm afraid to say I've been abusing my body big time this weekend. It started with skiing on Friday night. I went all the way to the top of the slope and am quite proud of myself!!! I only fell getting off the lift.</div><br /><div>The on Saturday attacked the garden with the lawnmower and weedeater....which meant by the time yesterdays tennis came I have quite sore arm and shoulder muscles.</div><br /><div>I really enjoyed tennis yesterday. OK maybe not the singles as I got soundly beaten by an up and coming 14 year old. Lost the doubles too but it was a great match. All 4 of us played well and it was close.</div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Nothing else much happening. Another week of school awaitens me!!</div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-37467383741330497852007-09-16T17:56:00.000+00:002007-09-16T18:14:43.089+00:00Another week<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9tWgPOc9Xgwx4DxtD4TkiB0RzfX3l6YyR0FS7ucJCavVuGZe8ydADezyiJXNcyNX9QPByYXYXxA42cwpYMcxiRbtN_hyJyWWf6DOXYB0N-7Lnmi4Yh9WyX6E-IF0aPiyzJwCc/s1600-h/DSCF0644.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5110864646800759442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9tWgPOc9Xgwx4DxtD4TkiB0RzfX3l6YyR0FS7ucJCavVuGZe8ydADezyiJXNcyNX9QPByYXYXxA42cwpYMcxiRbtN_hyJyWWf6DOXYB0N-7Lnmi4Yh9WyX6E-IF0aPiyzJwCc/s320/DSCF0644.JPG" border="0" /></a> Another week bites the dust and it's been a fairly good one.<br />I'm getting back into the school routine slowly but am still coming home quite shattered. The cats are also getting used to their new stay inside in the evening routine and sometimes even let me sleep until 6am.<br /><br />The trophy is the trophy I won last year at the club tennis championships. I took it back to the club today and am one match away from bringing it home again. I had quite a tough match today and it was not pretty tennis due to strong winds, but I managed to frustrate one of the youngsters and win. The doubles was more straightforward. Next week is going to be hard though in both the singles and the doubles.<br /><br />I went skiing with school on Friday night. There is a ski slope just a few miles away from here so thought I would tag along. Joined the beginner group just to find my feet again but was a bit bored so will join the intermediate group next week.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8tg_DnUU9eRYttTsR5ypohWR0hY5Tg5i7hQc9JSDBFNvAr2z-27G6hsv2crQ9_8ws5orovSdAM59nVBMeLSRmb6cerCM60Q8yz_dWsQSE9sAf_zcSrXoV2pQBCcSnk30UlZFY/s1600-h/DSCF0645.JPG"></a>Enjoyed watching SA beat England at rugby on Fri night (sorry to my English friends) and am now watching the T20 cricket match.<br /><br />Thats about it for this week. Catch up again soon.Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20606384.post-70359653872201332362007-09-08T05:48:00.000+00:002007-09-08T05:54:04.464+00:00Back to school and 'OW'<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQtwKYi41MqKqeKvCrpdFW351qZL1tHT24A_jAfSL-qiXNO664WHsOq4oMEs4qzDiORrDOetPvdkvZinqLqdlR_JA-p0z10KytcVndmkUglyf09puTJNqtob-g4ROv3_iOHLVg/s1600-h/eye.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107707498426452610" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQtwKYi41MqKqeKvCrpdFW351qZL1tHT24A_jAfSL-qiXNO664WHsOq4oMEs4qzDiORrDOetPvdkvZinqLqdlR_JA-p0z10KytcVndmkUglyf09puTJNqtob-g4ROv3_iOHLVg/s320/eye.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>I've survived the first week back to school and apart from being very tired and having a bit of a run in with a ruler (read further down) I've had a good week. My class is much better than last year and there is not one child monopolising my time which is lovely. They are slightly weaker academically though so will need to get used to that. I'm slowly getting back into the routine of things. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>About the incident with the ruler and the 'OW'</div><br /><div>Sorry about the picture, its not that pretty!!!</div><br /><div>How did it happen you ask. I was in my classroom on Thursday morning during assembly time doing some work on the laptop when I bent down (can't remember why) as I was standing up a metre stick toppled over from between the desk and filing cabinet and connected with my eye. No damage to the actual eye (A and E confirmed this) but the eyelid took the brunt and has been happier. It is still sore but is already looking better than the picture (taken Fri morning almost a day after it happened) </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Nothing major planned for the weekend. Today is a day of chilling and getting things sorted and tomorrow have a tennis match at the club. It is the beginning of the club tournament which Im looking forward to. </div>Kerrsahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13453200363356064026noreply@blogger.com0
